Employment & Previous Experience

Since 1994 I was based in East London, where I was employed as a teacher by three Primary Education Schools within the London Boroughs of Newham and Hackney. My subject specialisms were Art, Music and Drama.

Other main roles within these schools were as Special Educational Needs Curriculum Coordinator (Cleves Primary School, London Borough of Newham) and Coordinator/Manager of provision for pupils with behavioral difficulties, (Drew Primary School, London Borough of Newham.) Stemming from these roles I have also undertaken various projects as a freelance art teacher.

I continue to work as a Primary School Teacher in Cardiff, in conjunction with my ceramics practice; with each role creatively and philosophically informing the other.
